I refer to an e-mail issued to you on the 15th November 2005.  A copy is attached for your information and use.

 

I believe it would be preferable if that earlier e-mail were now to be regarded by us both as forming part of the formal ongoing record for this complaint, not least because I make reference to it in this item.

 

I will begin the formal presentation of the complaint on Monday of next week. 

 

At this juncture I wish to provide you with my contact details and some related comment.

 

Firstly it occurs to me that the use of the e-mail address "fsarulesok" may perhaps appear to you as being provocative. 

 

I would explain that my contact with IFADU, its members, and others with whom I have been in contact regarding this matter have all become familiar with my use of this particular e-mail address.  I would therefore for that simple reason prefer to continue its use.  However if you wish me to consider using an alternative, would you please advise accordingly.

 

My contact telephone number is XXXXXXXXX.  It is an Ex-Directory number, and I would request that it be kept confidential and is provided to anyone who feels the need to make use of it (if required) on a strict need to know basis.

 

I would make a similar request in regard to my postal address, which is XXXXXXXXXXX.  It is my current working assumption that the Complaint can, and will, be handled by e-mail correspondence.

 

You will see above that I have issued 2 copies of this e-mail. I highlight this aspect so that you may make contact using the e-mail addresses to which copies have been issued to verify the following comments, should you deem that to be necessary.

 

One is to Rod Leonard, who has formally instructed me to act on his behalf.  You may use the above e-mail address-

In my earlier e-mail I alluded to various matters that were exercising my thoughts.  I have now reached what I believe to be a satisfactory method upon which to proceed, and that will form part of the submission that I will issue to you on Monday next.  Inter alia, this will include specific reference to COAF procedures, and other issues such as "victims", "at risk", "directly affected", and "witnesses" mentioned in my earlier e-mail.

 

I believe that I will initially receive an automated response to this e-mail.  However because of the requests for confidentiality that I have made over my contact details, I would appreciate a non-automated acknowledgement that my request in that regard will be honoured.
